No. I'm not a big fan of socialism in any form.

No, I wouldn't vote for someone promoting a "National Health Care Plan." I still believe in personal responsibility and accountability. Generally speaking, the majority of those who have no health insurance, are those who REFUSED to do well in school. And let's face it, school is "Free," a "Universal Education Plan" if you will. The teachers all come from the same basic education pool. The administrators, from the same pool. So, where's the problem? Without an education, the likelihood of landing the well paying job with all of the benefits is slim to none. If you want health insurance, work for it!
AND, the last thing anyone REALLY wants is for big brother government to get involved. Can you recall back when Clinton was president? He turned healthcare over to Hillary --we have to keep the First Lady entertained..., her idea of cutting the cost of health care was to turn it over to the insurance companies. Let THEM make the decisions about what tests and procedures are needed. Call it HMO. What a phuquing joke! You had no continuity of care -- meaning you never saw the same doctor twice, the insurnce companies were always vetoing the doctor's diagnosis and plan for treatment. AND worse of all, while the mortality rate went up, the cost of healthcare did too! Brilliant! Pure phuquing genius. If you vote for it, you'll get exactly what you deserve!

Nobody has suggested National HEALTH CARE! What's been suggested is national HEALTH INSURANCE. The problem isn't so much with the HEALTH CARE industry as it is with the HEALTH INSURANCE industry. Does a hospital or doctor care who cuts the check? hell no...as long as they get paid in full and on time. The HEALTH INSURANCE industry are poor payers and hold back the check as long as they can. Beside that, they tend to be very picky about whom they insure...which means doctors and hospitals sometimes don't get paid at all. The 'right' for lack of a better designation keeps up the argument that someone, somewhere wants the government to take over all the HEALTH CARE facilities and put doctors on salary...why they want to muddy the waters like that is a mystery. As far as I know the HEALTH CARE industry is in favor of a national HEALTH INSURANCE fund....getting paid is good for business...not getting paid isn't. Give it a think!

Our Government officials are being paid off by pharmaceutical companies, so as to allow these companies to charge exuberant prices for their drugs. The elected officials are being paid off with cash and the promise of high paying jobs in these companies when their political careers are over. Also onlyte middle class are paying for medical, the poor plus illegals don't have to pay, and the rich don't care. We need a national health care system. n seconed thoughts I am not sure about the government running it it will be a mess in very short time.

NO! The only way the country can afford it like the candidates are proposing it would be to Nationalize the entire health care system including the drug manufacturers.
Do I think our health care system could be better? Sure. But having the government run the whole deal would be a colossal screw up. Every program that is run by the government has about 65% waste in funds due to buracracy.

Let's wait and see what happens. You seem to think that Pharma is their sole source of campaign donations. Maybe they won't cow tow to the donors and do the right thing anyway. Whatever happens we still have a health care crisis in this country that we are going to have to solve now or later. The longer we wait the worse it is going to get.
Another thought. Perhaps Clinton and Obama are already convinced we need health care reform and Romney needs more convincing. By the way for companies as big as pharma. $140,000 is a drop in the bucket.

No. Besides, the Dems "national health care" pitch is a scam, an attempt at taking control of of a large, critical part of the government. That's a big step toward destroying capitalism and forcing socialism onto America.
GIVING something to someone who makes no effort to get it for themselves i.e. THE AMERICAN ENTITLEMNENT SYSTEM, which ideally would give all our wealth away to the whole friggin' world, is the fast track to fourth world status.
Except for Hillary. She'd be privileged, rich, whatever the f she wanted to be, just like the bigshots who ran the Politburo in the now defunct USSR.

Health should stay private!! Nationalizing health care will be the trigger that will send us over the edge to a full blown recession. Yes there needs to be some reform, but putting it in the hands of the government will be a huge mistake!

As Americans, we have an obligation to our families, our neigbors and ourselves, to try to improve the health of our communities and our nation as a whole. Voting for a candidate who supports national healthcare is the only way we'll change the broken healthcare system we have today.
That's why I'm voting for John Edwards.

Interesting considering that the Health Care industry fought Romney's plan in Massachusettes every step of the way.
Did they have a change of heart?
I would be interested in seeing where you got those numbers, very interested.
BTW: Although my politics seem to be linning up with Giuliani, I'm inclined to think that Romney has the best chance to beat Satan and will get my vote pending developments.

Look at England, Canada,& France They have free healthcare and it is terrible. You wait years for service.
France the best doctors opt out so have to pay entire amount yourself to see a good doctor.
It sounds like a good idea, just doesn't work
Remember when goverment controls it
it is $4 for the politician ,$1 for the program of our money
