People just believe anything the media tells them. They claim many thinner than average women are anorexic. I see people call even perfectly normal sized women too skinny. Most women who wear a size 0 are just naturally that size and many of them look great. However, it is unhealthy and usually unattractive when average and larger girls starve themselves down to this size. It is not natural for their body type and should not be encouraged.

Anyone who just makes a general statement like "they're gross or anorexic" is just ignorant. Most women who wear a size 0 are not 6 ft tall models, they are perfectly normal women.

And not hot? Please, lots of hot stars are a size 0. You really think all those guys think size 0 eva longoria is gross? And according to her measurements, the much loved jessica alba would fit into a size 0. Some people DO look good thin and people need to get over it. Any body type can be attractive and people need to stop singling out skinny people as unattractive and unhealthy. The most common way people make up for their own insecurities is by insulting others.

Does it have to be attractive? is it not because of this obsession with attractivness that we have the "problem" of size 0 anyway? An attractive person isn't based on body shape- I know horrid and lovely people who are all sizes-

Please let's lay off insulting body size whatever it might be. As a teenager I was skinny, and I was bullied non stop by kids, teachers and parents alike. I was thin naturally and ate just as much as my siblings who were a bit bigger than me. But whilst at school we are all taught not to taunt the class fatty cos it's cruel no one ever said the same about thinnies. I spent a lot of my childhood hiding under big jumpers and avoiding taunts such as "Cambo" and "Belsen Horror" and that was from the adults! I'm suprised I DIDN'T develope an eating disorder!

i find it amazing that all the ladies on here are a size 12 or below ! funny that, i am what some of you would say is an unhealthy size 22 but i eat a wide variety of foods and go to the gym 3 times a week and work my butt off so don't dare tell me i'm unhealthy ! we rarely have any chocolate or cake in the house we have 1 treat a week. i have to admit to gorging in the past as a teenager but that is behind me now. i am not ashamed of who i am and neither is my husband (no 2) i have never had any trouble getting good looking boyfriends and most men i know would say that they prefer a lady who is a size 14/16 than a size 8/10, they like a bit of meat to get hold off, i only know of 1 man who likes skinny women and that is my brother who is very skinny himself. it's all swings and roundabouts, our differences are what make us interesting how boring would it be if we were all the same.

Occasionally for a very short and small build female it can be okay. But I personally don't think it's necessary for any female of 5ft plus to be under a size 8 unless that is their natural build. Size 4 and 6 are very small sizes and the majority of females would not be healthy at these sizes.

It really does p***s me off when people go on about size zero women. I am a size 6 and the only clothes that really fit me are 11yr olds. I cannot put on weight and hate it when people say I look like I have an eating dis-order.

An old friend put it like this, He would rather have someone that he can put his arms around and hug than a bag of bones that you could would break by hugging them.

This size obsession that women have is driven by the thoughtless images that are served up 24/7 in adverts, magazines, posters and other advertising mediums including children's TV and TV programmes.

I get really fed up with people who say things like this. The thing with eating disorders are they mess you up pyschologically so they need help from professionals, not JEALOUS people saying that they are ugly, just because those people are obese and probably have 3 days to live.

it is vile, but so is fat!
im not sure which is worse, bones sticking out left right and center, or rolls of never ending fat.
why do these things have to be to teh extreme? why cant people just be healthy fit and happy, then they will find thier perfect weight.
eating one cracker a day or gauging yourself with take away after take away only makes you miserable.
healthy well balanced meals, gym twice a week and a cheeky takeaway at the weekends has kept me at a size 10, of course id like to rid my tubby bits into a size 8 but why give up the food i love!?

Grotty. Sometimes nice face shame about the rest. These girls are just clothes horses to show off how clever the designer is producing clothes that will fall apart with the slightest tug which no one can wear at prices no one except the rich and foolish can pay
