Gosh, I wonder how my Grandfather would have felt about this. He arrived at the time of the great depression and had to change his name to "Fit In" with the majority of Anglo-Saxons at that time. All his Grand-kids have made their way in life as Technicians and Engineers with some working overseas (myself included). This country to all of us is Home and the greatest place to live in the World. We know our roots but never barrack for Sweden in any event. Football and Meat Pies for us.

Oh costly you're in only a touch a pickle arnt you. as with all united states you are able to desire to get by way of customs!!! that could desire to be your substantial hardship for now and then hardship approximately each and all the rest later. I undecided what point the protection is in Austalia climate they require info of a return cost ticket or no longer. have you ever tried getting a trip visa? a minimum of then you wont be an unlawful. as quickly as your over there then you've the means to locate a sponser and get a paintings enable. think of actually no longer hassle-free in case you pick to do this!!! in case you're caught living illegally over there your'll be deported after which you run the possibility of on no account being allowed get admission to returned. As for transforming into a citizen in case you marry confident that is attainable in the journey that your boyfriend is an Australian nationwide or has the rights of a Australian citizen. may be alot much less complicated and likewise plenty much less volatile in case you get carry of married till now shifting over there and then filed for the better half visa. i'm no longer a hundred% optimistic on the waiting time for Australia i think of that is 2 years till now you are able to substitute right into a citizen yet in that 2 years you would be allowed to stay and paintings there legally. wish ot all works out for you.

Another inspired idea from a clueless bureaucracy. Hopefully the test is applied to current politicians, we would no doubt ship a few of them to Nauru.

I was embarrassed when I first heard about this business but then I realised it was just Howard and his mob showing us how decisive and proactive they can be in protecting us from undesirables. You wouldn't expect much else from them would you? I wonder how much it cost to set up?

More countries should give these kinds of test to their migrants. It would show a willingness on the immigrant's part to learn the language and customs of their new host country. In other words passing such a test would show that the new migrant is really trying to assimilate.
