He turned 65 on June 18th this year - and I doubt he regrets writing the song - although he probably feels differently now about old age from when he wrote the song.

i doubt it. at least hes still here to remember the days when he wasnt 64. and it probably sounded good at the time

Doubt it. It shows how lovely his life would have been if Linda hadn't died and he hadn't married a money grabbing tramp. It almost hurts me to hear it for him!
