It only counts for Democrats. Republicans are to be exempt from any criticism of the same sort. That is how things are to be done. Like most cowards they can dish it out but can't take it.

Good try, but sorry. Let's compare, shall we?

A pair of good $400 shoes will last a year or two.

A $400 haircut will last this guy a week.

To add insult to injury, Edwards is running around with his haircut bleating about poverty while the company he recently worked for is aggressively foreclosing on homeowners all across the south east. This is hypocrisy in it's most extreme form.

But then, this guy's not playing with a full deck anyway. He was recently here in Virginia, where the unemployment rate is somewhere between 2 and 3 percent, raging about how bad folks here have it. Hey, if you don't have any issues, make something up. It's worked for the Clintons.

Someone needs to tell that Edwards guy that his haircut isn't looking like a 400 dollar cut. More like a Best Cuts deal.
Fred Thompson is a horrid hypocrite.

I don't care if Fred has Gucci loafers and I don't care if Edwards par $400 for haircuts. It's their own money. They are rich and they need to spend it anyhow. Since when its it so wrong to be rich.

Damn, I don't want to be a doctor now, I don't want to be rich.

Please lets talk REAL POLITICS!!!!!!

It's proof he has been successful and has good taste...you don't see him spending hour's "fixing" his loafers or yelling at people because they're not "just right". Loafers are a one time purchase...that $400 haircut will have to be redone every couple of weeks. Thompson also isn't telling me how wasteful I am while buying his loafers...

*sigh*
Fred Thompson isn't going on TV and talking about his "tour of poverty" like Edwards and then going on record for a $400 dollar haircut. We just point out his hypocrisy.

I take them as evidence of money...and Fred Thompson isn't the one going around telling YOU what you ought to drive to "save the planet" and how he is just an "aw, shucks" guy like Edwards.

neither is really an issue, but since the rightists made the haircut an issue the shoes are fair game. let's have a fashion show to see which ambulance chaser will win.

No, his experience as a lobbyist and reputation for being lazy are evidence of his eliteism and hypocrisy.

I would say he liked the Gucci loafers and wanted to buy them. What does this have anything to do with his viewpoints?
