Nope, it's never been done before. Even taking away the assists category, nobody has even had 40 doubles, 20 homers, 20 stolen bases and 20 triples in a season. The player who came closest to it was Frank Schulte in 1911, but he ended up with only 30 doubles and 8 outfield assists.

If you adjust the doubles down to 20, then Willie Mays comes very close in 1957, except he ended up with only 9 outfield assists.

yea, all this for a guy who the fans, nor the players voted to the all star game.................
he's the games best lead off hitter by far. he was hitting over .300 for most of the year, until he hit an early august slump.........but he's back on his way. he'll get 2 more homers, maybe 3 steals, but six more doubles, is doubtful. but even so, these numbers as they stand are some of the most well rounded numbers a player can have. hell, he even hit an in the parker this year too!

Granderson is tight. He is putting up those kinda #'s when Ty Cobb played. He is like hella humble in real life too. When Detroit came into town to play the A's, he and Andy van Slyke were at the local Apple Bees. He is a class act. His mom did a hella of a job. And i usually dont jock jocks.
