All of the cat food sold is purchased by people and people don't think mouse flavor sounds good, so until Fluffy gets his own credit card, producers have to appeal to the one with the wallet.

Also, much of the cat food sold is actually eaten by humans. Would you buy mouse flavored food for yourself?

How the hell would they know what a mouse taste like!? And besides cats are sensible creatures. They don't eat mice, so the product would never sell.

For that matter, why don't they make cat-flavored dog food?

Seriously, my little hunter has never actually eaten a mouse. She just toys with their emotions, engages them in her sadistic games, then, once in her clutches, she squeezes them to death with her jaws of terror. Finally, she leaves them as a token for Mommy.

Cats are smarter than they get credit for... maybe mice taste like shite. And who wants shite-flavored cat food? I guess that may be a good flavor for dog food though. ;-)

I agree with those who said cats like mice to play with, not really to eat. It's all about the chase. LOL

Happy Friday!
