No, a lot of people can see it, it's just tacky now with all this talk of money, bloggs, media etc, the circus should have packed up long ago, it has done nothing to find Madeleine.

I'm not sure of the point of your question. There are no dna results at all at the moment so there is no proof of anything. What van are you talking about?
As far as the circus is concerned then yes, a lot of us thought that it has been too much about the McCanns and not enough about Madeleine. That is entirely a different issue.

It has become a media circus with gerry and kate becoming household celebritys, next they will be auditioning for big brother. I would have hoped from the very begining that the mccanns would have ketp out of the limelight and appointed a respentative. I mean how many times did they leave their kids alone when they were flying half way round the world?? I still think there is a more guilt than just leaving maddie alone. My main question is why would a paedeophile who had the opportunity snatch 3 beautiful children decide to rest on his laurels and only take one of them? second question is with all the mass media covering this story you would have thought it would be too dangerous to go driving thru europe with maddie in the car na dall the bounty hunters around. Also who was the last to see person to see her that evening? and what about the question of the perfect timing the opportunist managed to snatch her whilist they were being checked ever 30 mins?? I dunno but I have said from the start that one or both parents were involved with an accidental death and they and their group who it is rumoured are all swingers have a kept a pact of silence. They know what really happens but gerry who acts all clever and smart knows they have got rid of the evdidence and morbid for me to say but no body means no murder. I hope i am wrong but this whole case stinks to high ground with so many loose ends. Poor maddie, she did not deserve this, she was only a 4 year old child, an innocent little girl who has just vanished of the face of this terrible place we call earth.

I always wondered what use all that money would be to them, in the same way as I wondered why they need a legal team. Now I'm wondering if that money is what is being spent on suing the Portuguese press, and if so, is it a proper use for the fund. All very strange. The 'circus' has certainly taken on a life of its own. Where will it all end?

Yes I wish that the focus had been be on FINDING maddy instead of talk of lawyers/pr managers/fund raising etc etc. Kate and Gerry start searching in some meaningful way!! Plastic rubber bracelets/balloon launches/pr rubbish is not doing it. Please as many, many people on this forum have said right from day 1 Why oh why have they not paid for Private Investigators (the best in the world with the money kindly donated by the public that they have in the fund) to get out there and do the work. I feel Gerry has turned it into a PR circus and its not finding his daughter. Please change tactics or is it already too late?

From the McCanns perspective, it hasn't really been about Madeleine since approx day 2 of her disappearance, when they hired the big team of legal experts and set up their trust fund. That's when Gerry & Kate decided to put themselves and their reputations first. Lets face it, Gerry barely mentions Madeleine in his daily blog.

She's been gone for so long that the chances of her being alive are practically zero (and forensic tests are proving it too.) The parents have got to see sense and realise that their daughter is dead. It's a terrible concept that nobody wants to face, but it's true.
The press are like vampires and are milking this story dry. the parents need to step out of the limelight and stop talking to the press.

I agree. And i also think that they are hiding something from the police. And that they were something to do with it. How much money have they made now, while there little girl is possibly dead. And all they do it TV appearances and travel the world saying their cause.

I see it too!! I hope and pray they get thoroughly investigated and the appropriate action taken against them.I wonder what happened regarding the dna samples ?? Do you know?
EDIT. It's just that the headlines on the front of the Express said that the British were being accused of ruining the dna results. Just wondered what it was all about / Thanks.

Meeting the pope would seem to me to be a pretty good way of publicising her disppearance. Seems pretty sensible to me. Phil Bigley was on holiday in the Algarve when he went to see the McCanns. Gerry McCann went to the US and the result of that seems to be that the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children publicise missing children on YouTube. Obviously the media are interested and every such case is reported from the angle of what the parents are going through. They decide what to print.
