Iam not sure what the deal was with Joba, but you are right WE NEED THIS GUY..... It may have been as simple as he wanted to let them know that he will protect HIS part of the plate by making them aware that he can and will prove a point if needed...

I am also always a YANKEE FAN...But after hearing all the B.S. from the SOX fans ALL season...its much sweeter when The Sox get beat..

always happy to be a fan because when they play they put a smile in face even tough they will loose I'm just happy there out there playing . I'm a die hard fan in the good bad and ugly their part my life

im glad you actually know whats going on man. i respect that but most of these idiots arent even real yankee fans. i hate the yankees so much but i love the boss. he lives here in tampa and does a lot for out city, but that doesnt mean im not allowed to hate the team.
Now if the rays woud spend like 40 million more i bet you we would be a lot better than we are now. so many people would love to come to tampa to play ball. its the perfect place to live. once our cheap owners stop making the trop look better and start focusing on the team we will be solid.

I just find it amusing how many Yankee "fans" there are in the past few days....where were you all before this sweep? I hope all you guys are around when the Red Sox clinch the East...I will take your Yankee bragging (much as I did yesterday) but I want to see all you Yankee fans on here when the Red Sox clinch!

With the job nor complete yet I refrain from mouthing off. Theres still a lot of Baseball left in this season and theres another series with Boston left. That probably will make us or break us. I am also concerned with a letdown against Tampa Bay who always play us tough. No partying yet but it feels good today. Yes Indeed!

I'm always glad to be a Yankees fan, no matter what. You should always be glad to be a fan of your team, even when they are losing. Your job as a true fan, is to support your team through the highs and the lows.

i'm glad to be a fan today and 2 months ago when they were doing bad. when you are a true fan you definetely feel better when their winning but you are also there and you still say that you are a yankees when things go bad. i can't talk about victory yet their is still a month left in baseball and hopefully then i could talk anything i want till then i can't.

What a crazy season for the Yanks ! What do you think happened with Joba ? I hope his head is on straight, we are going to definately need him. I have scary thoughts of him having a weird problem like Knobloch had or the Cardinal pitcher Rick Ankiel who lost that "feel" to throw accurately....
