After all Liberals reward deviant behavior Clinton, Clinton, Kennedy, Jefferson....

TD. Those folks are no longer with the party. If you remember a bunch of Liberals said that this sort of behavior is part of a private life and does not rise to the level of punishment. Remember these guys. It was about BC and his BJ. So Craig would fit right in.

Brian A. I did not say anything about clinton only that his/hers immorality is protected by liberals. So with Craig on the liberal side than he would be free to persue his happiness that is preached by Libs no matter what.

BTW William Jefferson.

dadacoolone - actually it does. When a person in power ie President of the US uses his/her office to solicit sex of an underling ie Intern there is a problem with that. Sexual Harrassment. But there you go defending this and downplaying it.

I'm Bill Clinton, married to Hillary Clinton, and got a BJ from an intern less then half my age and my actions aren't "deviant."

slykitty... wtf bs is that? Craig's actions were deviant but Bill Clinton's weren't? Are you wishing it was you blowing the President in the Oval Office - built with OUR tax dollars, cleaned and maintained by OUR tax dollars?

...Quite the set of double standards some of you people have.

-
Most of you liberals are sucking up so bad, knowing there is media bias, party treatment/fallout bias and you gloat your high and almighty ego's all the way into stupidity.

Do you know how foolish that makes our Country look when scum politicians - no matter what party they're in, ruin the reputation of what the f_ _ k they're elected to do?

When I put my name on the line and vote for someone to stand up and represent me, I hold every action they do accountable. I'm not selective in blindly suppressing poor personal choices for people I elect, or others, only to have them use and abuse their power just because they think they're entitled to do crap that loses integrity, loyalty, devotion and respect by supposedly being educated and smart enough to lead our Country in whatever endeavor we elect them for.

If you walked into Congress, or up to the White House - you'd all be shaking in your boots because of the POWER that's executed from those very doors.

Those people represent honor, dignity and pride and the results we're too often receiving is corruption, deceit... One scam after another and extreme abuse of our F-ing money.

If the Liberal/Democrat party actually got off their high-horse and held some of their people accountable, HALF of the rest of the world wouldn't view us as a bagofshit.

my friend men like Craig are the same type that spend hours at a urinal waiting for little boys to pee...As a liberal I do not condone Clinton's lie but having an affair does not warrant an arrest !
If Craig switched parties, the moral so called majority would be talking about this from church alters to the local town picnic from now to the next 50 years !

this question has been uttered About a thousand times this week from the hate radio guys... I've been listening all week and they have all made this exact argument... Don't change the subject children, he is part of the Moral republican party and he just got caught trying to pedal his sausage... bottom line the Dems don't make an issue about being "falsely" moral or anti-gay. That is the distinct territory of the rabid right hypocrites that are in the minority of this country. So take another black eye because you deserve it...

Oh for sure, he would be right up there with the one of the great gay democrat pioneers. Jim McGreevy did the exact same thing (truck stops, rest stops, bookstores, bathrooms etc) and he is loved by the Democrats. Maybe Craig and Barney Frank can have a bipartisan effort to fix up the Congressional washroom!

Part of the problem here is that part of the marketing done by the Republican party the last 30 years is anti-gay bashing to attract the christian fundamentalist wing of the party, so, in part, you are missing the larger issue at play with the Craig scandal.

No; Because he still tried to commit this act in a public facility. That's why the Lewd conduct charges. However; The outrage would be less - Because, Let's be honest - This guy is just another example of Republican hypocrisy who's long opposed gay rights...

Some of the outrage is from Republicans; Not because of the illegal behavior, But because he IS gay or bi. Trust me; I've heard them go on...

He should have asked Barney Frank how HE did it. From one crusty-old queen to another. "What's your secret, Barn? You got a standing ovation and you like YOUNG boys! All I did was hit on a cop. At least he was over 18!"
"Huh? What's that, Larry? Young boys? Where?"

Too late to switch parties..

Every time a GOP boy gets caught with his pants down.. you all try and blame the liberals and democrats. The way I see it, its not about his conduct..its about being a hypocrite. You cant be vocally anti gay and be cruising public restrooms looking for love. Same as Foley.. hypocrites.
