I think Florida needs to stand its ground and force the DNC to let their votes count. The DNC wants the primaries in a specific order to make certain states more important. While I feel all primaries should be held on the same day for everyone, until you do that, the states should be allowed to have their primaries when they want. Florida is the 4th most populous state and they feel, and rightfully so, that the candidates care more about Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina more then them. Those states don't have the same demographic as Florida, Florida is not as conservative(even in the democratic party) as South Carolina or even Iowa, but definately not a liberal as New Hampshire. They have a unique mix of constituants with so many people being transplants, the run the gambit from NE liberals to old fashioned southern conservatives and everything in between.
They DNC should not discount Florida, it will hurt Florida and the democrats in the long run. If the candidates know their votes won't count in the primary they won't campaign in Florida while the republicans whose votes will count in the primary will. So the eventual republican nominee will have had more exposure in the state with the 4th largest number of electorial votes than the democratic candidate. That doesn't bode well in the general election.
@Autobots, this has nothing to do with the republicans. The Democratic National Commitee told Florida their delegates would not be allowed at the Democratic National Convention if they don't move back the date of their primary.

First of all, the Constitution has nothing to do with how a political party tallies votes for its nominee. Only DNC rules apply here, and they prohibit a primary election before February.
Secondly, it's doubtful the votes won't count. Florida and the DNC have months to hammer out a compromise, and they will. The last thing Democrats want is to alienate Florida's voters.

What in the hell are you talking about? All the votes were counted. Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, and Independant, it did not matter. The only votes that were argued about were the ones from our service personnel overseas, the one who voted absentee. The dem's did not want them counted and the Republican's did.

If you are talking about the primaries then you would have to ask your fellow democats about this one. I would suppose how a party picks a candidate is their business. Could be a pissing contest for all I know....

To think my vote won't be counted is an abomination. I will vote anyway. Jeb isn't there to count them.
