Never. Well if it's tears of rage, humiliation, and frustration then sometimes it's okay but only if they're under the age of seven, when a real man leaves boyhood behind. Oh and it's okay for a man to cry if he's watching a sad movie, that's cool too. Hmmmm, when a man stubs his toe it's okay to whimper a bit....I guess a tear or two wouldn't hurt anyone. When mom dies it's okay to cry then as well. I suppose it's all right to cry when a man's first child is born, particularly if the man has birthed the child himself; wow, that would be really weird and worth a few tears from what I've seen when the women give birth! Oh and when there is no more beer in the fridge and the stores are closed up for the night, that's definitely worth crying over for a man. That's it though, only these situations.

of course it is and it always depends on the situation even for women. Its a good way on getting rid of emotions not displaying them but if it really hurts i spose you do have to let it out and cry.

Men are given the idea very early on that every emotion they display that is not anger (or happiness, but sometimes even that) are ugly in nature and should not be displayed in public, or sometimes even felt at all. This results in a massive horde of seemingly emotionless people who actually do have feelings, they just repress them for the good of public demeanor. If they display emotions excessively, in spite of this tendency, there may be something wrong, either in their gender identity or they may just be overwhelmed with repressed feelings. But, all in all, it is perfectly alright for men to be emotional...it is just strange to us, is all.

Why houldn't men be able to show their emotions?! Some men act like they'd keel over if they cried. I'm not one of those people who say "I like men who can cry" or "Being able to cry is being a real man", that's not my point of view. I just think we can all showw emotion in the way we want, even if it's not showing it.

Well, it does depend on the situation, if they tear up for no reason, then it's no. Well, if they're laughing so hard that tears come to their eyes, that'd be O.K.
My dad cried when we had to put down our dalmatian. I was sad too, and I didn't even say goodbye to him. My brother did too.
So it's ok if men cry, as long as it's for good reason. Otherwise, they're being a wuss.

yes.. for me we should remove the sterotype that men should be as hard as rock.. men should also show their emotions and be proud about it. After all, male or female, we're all human beings who at some point in our lives feel sad and only a little cry will make us feel better..

If for pain or heart ache, then no. If is out of love or pride then yes. I have shed a few tears when my son or daughter has an amazing event, or when i am so proud of them I might bust.
But if i get hurt, or get my heart broken , then no, we just stuff it way down and forget about it.

Men can cry, but only when kicked in the junk really hard, other than that, suck it up and be a man.
And men need to quit wearing girl pants! EMO guys just piss me off, EMO girls are fricken hot though.

That depends on who you ask, but I feel that it is okay for men to cry and that it is also very healthy.
