hi all,my pc is a server and i run a small network,how can i block certain softwares on clients? i dont use windows servers, i use xp and i have software for network security but i cant prevent clients from using softwares like bitcommet. help please

if you have a server that provides other computers with internet on asmall LAN...and you dont have the full control on it...iam not sure that you can prevent them from installing any software but you can prevent the sharing service...you may can block some web sites...iam telling you this because i have internet connection in asmall area network ( 4 or 5 computers) and the admin cannot prevent us from insatlling

software..i think he can only monitor what computer causes problems

You should set yourself up on each pc as the Administrator with your own password.

Set up each employee as a "user" not "administrator". This prevents him from loading software.
