as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
I am M.D at HUGE ELASTICATED TROUSERS Ltd and i spend the great majority of my time in USA.My USA sales have made me a millionaire and i for one would never hear a bad word against the USA.It pains me to hear all of the bad vibes towards my great friends in the USA.

The biggest thing we did wrong was to appoint George Bush as President. Unfortuantly it was a mistake that we did not seem to learn the first time around.

I don't have any bad feeling towards Americans in general. But, I do worry about them as they are slowly but surely losing many of their freedoms and rights due to erratic decisions and inappropriate actions by their leader and military advisers.

As an ex soldier having finished 22 years in OCt of last year, I have worked along side the Americans on many occassions, I know I speak for a very high majority of our servicesmen, just take these to sayings into account
All the kit but a bag of ****
All the gear and no idea
How many more of my colleagues must they kill in so called FRIENDLY FIRE incidents.
Pull our brave lads and lasses out and let those idiots get on with it.

BTW I'm glad your fondness of the USA comes from the fact they make you rich and you have not based it on any values or morals some Americans might have (sarcasm).

As any successful person will know, there will always be haters. This applies to USA also. Granted, I'm sure we are not perfect. But there are alot of things we are doing well. I just hope that always continues to be so.
