Ironic... the McCanns are calling the portugese media hurtful and unhelpful but how helpful is it to sue the paper in finding Madeleine?? So it all comes down to money!

Yet again thinking of themselves instead of their daughter is the way I see it. Why not just be grown up about it and ignore it. If they know they are innocent then they should be the bigger people and just ignore. I certainly would only care about my child being returned not what the press says. Anyone in their right mine knows that you can not fully trust what the media rights all the time. Just makes them look more guilty.

The McCanns were idiots to begin with. Who goes on vacation and leaves their small child alone in the hotel room why they go out to have a fun night on the town?

Actually,I think that yes, they are after money initially,they must be running short of what they have fiddled from McCann Ltd., also it is a good way of throwing another smoke screen.

Attack is often the best form of defence! I don't defend the MCann's actions in leaving their children alone that night, or any other night, but I can understand how they would wish to try and protect their reputation.

I hope that the Portuguese media is not as stupid as the UK media - in handing out any Compen - to these two money grabbers... if any money is to be changed hands - the paper should donate a couple of quid to a Charity - not to the Feed Jekyll's Ego fund...
The McCann's have all the support they could ever need available to them ...Philip Green has even lent them his Jet...by selling stuff & sueing people - they are going to loose a lot of support from people like me & you on Y/A.
