Maybe you have anemia?? Course maybe you've been checked out for this but i was just thinking no-one's suggested it.
It's quite likely you have anemia i think, because if it's been since you were 13 it might have been when you started your period. when you're losing blood for a period, you get less iron in your blood so it makes you feel tired and that's anemia.
Anyway, i would see your doctor for more blood tests. If you are anemic you will be prescribed iron tablets.

You sound depressed. I have had minor depression for years, also. I'm 41. When I go to my shrink, I feel great. When I stop going, I'm tired and disinterested in fun stuff.
Here's what I do during the times I am not going.
1. no caffeine
2. cut back on alcohol
3. exercise very hard 6 days per week
4. cut way back on sugar
This seems to help. I'm still tired but I try to exercise and have fun. I am always amazed that my 70yo mom and my 75yo MIL have more energy than me....lol.

Take your focus on life to what is greater than yourself! Go to Alonon if you are not a drinker, AA if you are. Find a nondenominational church, go to small groups they may have... centered on similarity in age or subjects of interest. Find your higher power that can give life and meaning to you. That is what other people do!! It is easy also. Stay away from the pillow! Make plans, don't just wait for life to get more boring. Set your alarm clock on a daily basis so you start living! Get a job, take classes, get going on this right away. You can do it!

Are you sure you've had a full workup from a doctor.
You don't mention eating habits, current health, exercise and so on.
Once I turned 30, my energy went to pot. Couldn't figure it out. I adventually I started a workout regimen, Lots of fruits. plus Vitamin B complex, helps with stress relief, digestion and energy.
Talk to your Doctor.

I agree with flutterby above, get your thyroid levels checked out,my mother is 46 and was like that for years, constantly tired, heat sensitive etc... eventually we forced her to get it checked out, and a simple blood test confirmed she has an under-active thyroid. She is on medication now, and has a lot more energy. Please go see your GP.

If you feel depressed or have stress that will make you feel tired all the time.
also going out a lot on the tiles will do it.
Have a closer look at your life and see what you can change. you never know you may feel a lot better if you change a few things ok.

Have you had your thyroid levels checked out?
It might not be the whole answer but stress can take a lot out of you and unlike normal tiredness, it takes that bit longer to get your energy back. If you have a problem with chronic stress, ask your GP to refer you to psychotherapist. I would also ask him to check your thyroid levels.

Join a gym and make yourself go. The more exercise you get the more energy you will have, and the happier you will be. Doesn't have to be anything super strenuous could be a pilates class....you just need to get out there & do something active.
