Can't wait 4 years for a party. Need cheering up every winter.

There are some leap year festivals, however the real reason is that we tend not to celebrate days we don't get off work. Since we have very few national holidays compared with the rest of the world, we basically have limited holidays in America to only religious based holidays. So unless church declares Feb 29 Jesus's brisk day, people won't celebrate it, because the only reason people celebrate any day is because they are expected to.

I think those that are born on February 29 really celebrate, since they techniquely only have a birthday ever 4 years. Good luck. 2D

Jan 1st is celebrated as it’s the first day of the New Year and in anticipation that we can enjoy each day and also stay happy throughout the whole year.

Unfortunately, 1st January is considered as the 1st day of the New Year, but they did not keep a provision for any speciality for 29th February -

I always take the night off and party. It's a big event. Beer and BBQ. Like the Olympics..... Only With beer, a BBQ, more friends and no elite athletes.
