I have never heard of them and it is expensive but she wants to do it. Does anyone have opinions about them?

Powers has a bad reputation for just selling people acting lessons and never getting them any work. It is generally considered unethical for a talent agency to also have an acting school. Ethical agents do not charge for anything or try to sell you anything.

John Robert Powers will recruit anyone with a check that clears. They're a scam, a con, a fraud, and they prey on little kids who think they're the next Hannah Montana. Don't go within a million miles of those dirtbags.
