Lip products which have lead harm your lips and make them dark.
To check if the product has lead or not, just apply some lipstick to ur wrist and lightly rub some gold on it (with ur ring / bangle).. If it changes color, then it has lead and will darken ur lips.
Lip products which stay for longer have more lead as compared to lip products which dont stay on for longer (eg, gloss)
Btw, lead in lip products can also cause cancer (but i've just heard it.. im not sure.. and small quantities will never harm.. so dnt worry on that)

Well from what i know everything you put on your lips is temporary, some are just harder to get off.
Anything that would in some way change the color of your lips is lip stain, but that will eventually come off [as the layers of skin come off of your lips so will the color]
nothing can actually change the color forever, because like I said your lips get fresh, new layers of skin [just like the rest of your body] so you will eventually get your actual lipcolor. Most of the time if you just wash the lip stick/stain off well it will be back to normal color [well I don't know about stain, i've never used it]

Maybe long term, if you use a really cheap brand or a lip tint/stain, but right off the bat, like, the first day you use it, it's not going to do anything. It goes over your lips, not into them, and it depends on the brand.

No, all these products do is highlight your lips more. In retutrn you may think they are darker but in reality they are not. Any time you moisten your lips they always appear darker and thats a good thing.

umm..... yes I think that's what they're supposed to do. Lipstick was invented back in the egyptian times, it's supposed to imitate the rosiness of a woman's lips when she's sexually aroused.

no i use all this and the color is the same and i use it for years.they just change the color of your lips for a while and make it preety maybe a liposan can make sth like this!!!!
