ANSWER: I last gave mine on June 6th (this year!). When do you start giving any ! ! !

Hi Henny,
I imagine I am able to, and I'm 22 so I am old enough, so I cannot think of any plausable reason not to!
I used to think about it and planned on giving blood once I turned 18, but somehow never did.
It's something I would like to do because if my boyfriend ever needed a blood transfusion, I know I would want people to have given blood so that he could be saved. That's the way I think of it.
I think I'll go and read up about donating blood now!

I tried to donate a couple months ago and my blood kept clotting around the needle and the women would come over and have to wiggle the needle around. I've had no problem having blood drawn in the past, but they couldn't even get a pint out of me. So basically the whole 40 minute torture process was useless. I won't do it again, I was traumatized.

Because I am booked in to give blood on Sun and I don't think they will take two pints out of me within a matter of days.....

Have to work today and no-one to cover me.
I AM a regular donor though and gave two months ago so I`m not scheduled to donate yet.

I have a phobia of needles. You saying the words 'give blood' have made me feel squeemish. Thats why. I would, I will one day when my irrational fears leave me.

I know it saves life's, but I don't like needles, and get really sick at the sight of blood, so that won't work out so well with me! lol

i do give blood every now again just not today tootired to have to go all the way into town yanow knackered

I'm not allowed to because I've had a heart condition within the last year. Surgery last Dec.
