I think it comes up that they can't access your profile. Like it does when someone gets deleted or looses their account. A whole bunch of people who I had put on my contact list, I suddenly couldn't get to their profile after Y!A added the block feature. I didn't have a clue they didn't like me. It was like having people you hang with all the time suddenly act like you don't exist. I try to make myself feel better by believing they thought me to be the stalker chick they were having problems with. (I'm not). She liked to make up other accounts and go after them, so you never knew who was her and who wasn't.

They get the same as anyone else when they look at your profile.
But they get an error message if they try to get into your questions.
Trust me, I'm used to it, the number of people who seem to have blocked me based on the same e-mail/IM you got telling them I was a Troll.
EDIT: Seems, from an e-mail I got from someone else who had blocked me in the past, that there is someone who posts in the Violations Forum as Weatherman and claims to be reporting everyone .............. That's not me ..... I show up as Mark M if I post in there.

No problem you are not in trouble as they can't see your profile answers questions and not even E-mail /IM you even if you are allowing other people.Yahoo answers are really safe.

They won't know you blocked them until they try to answer a question of yours. It will tell them they can't view it at this time.
When they check your profile, I believe they can still email you.
They don't see much else.

they know because they cant read your question
and they cannot access your profile either
they see your question on the page but a msg tells them they cannot access the details or something like that

It will be off limits to them. They won't be able to see your profile or answer your questions.
