"An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'xxxx', server: 'xxx', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error number: 0x800C0133" this error comes when I am checking my mail with outlook express 6 (winXP). Can anybody help me??

Did you configure your e-mail in Outlook Express? You need to supply the names of your SMTP and POP servers (get them from your E-mail vendor) and your account and password. Outlook express actually logs into your e-mail and reads it for you.

if all of these above suggestions fail you can do what i had to do when i had pretty much the same problem, i called my internet service provider and he had a way of looking at my outlook express screen from where he was.he fixed it for me. hope this helps, good luck.

go to tools --> accounts --> properties
check your incomming and outgoing server, if any wrong, correct them
