wow I love the Philosophy section =)

On a materialist level, no. But on a metaphoric, spiritual level, sure. It says in scripture that "the earth is swaying and buckling under the weight of its own sin." And also that "the earth cries out for redemption." So, according to God, earth actually "feels" the effects of human action - and it can become parched and maybe even thirsty. The earth is also fallen and in need of redemption. Awesome question. Take care.

the only way the sea would become thirsty,is if the ozone was too screwed up. and if the total balance in the future some day was recked.and the rays of the sun drained the sea to much at a time.then the sea would be lacking nourishment and would starve.

Pluto hahahehe that is a funny question no not thirsty but possibly lonely when there are no people swimming in them and when the boats are docked for rest their comfort though are the marine life their constant companion but then again they still need us humans and the Divine infinite God to shine the light on the blue of their depths :))))

With polution, yes. Just as so, somebody who seems like they have it all could be thirsting for more inside their hearts.
