Get a Cat.

Lizards mainly come into houses because they are chasing bugs, fo first close up any cracks, crevices and holes where they both get in. Another way is in potted plants that have been outdoors and then get moved indoors for the winter.(Every February I have baby lizard and geckos everywhere from hatching from eggs in my plant soil I brought in for the winter.) If they really bother you, set mouse glue boards around on the floor in areas where you spot them running around (near doors and windows.) I would refrain from poisoning them, especially if you have pets that might eat the poisoned animal before it died.

There are pesticides that you can use to kill them, some places even have traps to catch them. What I usually do is catch them and release them outside, but if you're alittle squeemish (sp?) about handling them, then that option wouldn't really be a good soultion for you.

Why would you want to? They eat insects, and they won't bother you.
