It's probably not getting enough sunlight. Hibiscus plants need at least 6 hours/day of sun exposure. Happy growing!

Not sure what type of hibiscus you have there are many varieties. Some are outdoor and the indoor variety can grow well indoors... duhhh.

Both require phosphorus in your soil for good blooming. The outdoor variety should bloom all spring, summer and early fall.
And more often if you live in a garden zone that does not have freezing temperatures.

Good products with high phosphorus content is BR-61 and Green Lights Super Bloom. If those products do not make your hibiscus bloom then I will eat my straw hat. With a little salt & pepper not bad.

Indoor variety needs more indirect sunlight. That means no direct sun but closer to a window or underneath a skylight. Outdoor variety need full direct sun.

Hope this helped.

hibiscus are a tropical plant. they will bloom fairly continuously if fertilized on a regular basis. something with a high middle number to promote blooming (ie. 10-52-10, 10-60-10). they do very well in a southern or western exposure; but will adjust to an eastern or northern exposure if given lots of light (not sunlight). water thoroughly & allow to almost dry out before watering again.

Hibiscus blooms are dependent on the amount of heat they recieve. They do not like to be dry. Heat and humidity are the key. (Cuttings will root in water.)
