My husband doesn't sleep very well at all, he will usually go to sleep alright but come three in the morning he wakes up and can't get back to sleep.
He finds that he tends to wake up with a hard which I don't know if it's because he's a light sleeper (which one doctor suggested) or because there's a problem (This will happen weather we've had sex before he goes to sleep or not so please no stupid comments). We've gone to see a few doctors and one suggested that waking up in the middle of the night is a sign of depression and suggested he try anti depressents. (We were both really surprised with this suggestion as he is a proactive person that never stops and never seems to stop thinking which I think is his biggest problem) Have you experienced a similar problem or could you suggest something to help him get a good nights sleep as this is really affecting him and in turn is making him not much fun to live with.

This happened to me for awhile and all I did was start working out during the day which makes me more tired, so that when I go to sleep at night I don't wake up during the night and I can actually sleep until the alarm clock wakes me up. If you make yourself more active during the day then at night your body will need sleep and you will be able to sleep the whole night. Good luck, I hope I was helpful.
