I am going to a wedding. People are very laid back. Weddng is at the seaside, first church in a village by the sea (asphalted pavement) and then party at a wood terrace on the beach. I will vear a creamlike coloured dress, above the knees, feminine and simple and I dont know what shoes to wear. I have two options: flats resembling ballet shoes or sandals with two straps only and 5 cm hills, pls see pics below (my sandals have only two straps, one over toes one in the back of teh leg ). Thank you!!!!

Go with the sandals !, I think with the pavement and wood terrace they would be the better choice ! Plus, I think the heel on the sandals woulds would add that little bit of FUN , FLIRTY look to your out fit !!
You don't want to ruin your outfit by looking like your going to ballet lessons.
Have loads of Fun !, seaside..sounds Heavenly!!!

well, i don't like any of the two.
Ballet shoes are quite casual and it will make you look small. The sandal is not too chic and it makes your outfit too safe.

Suggestion:
Try looking for a peep-toe heels with either black leather or a patented one. You can also wear red shoes and match it with accessories that are also color red. In that way, you will not look old and safe. it will make you look more trendy and at the same time keeps you looking formal.

you're allready tall, and as you said you dont want to seem snobbish to the other wedding guests then i would go for the ballet style pumps, not the heels - hope this helped :) xx

I WOULD SAY THE HILL. ITS NOT TO SASSY, BUT SEXY IT'LL GO WITH THE KNEE LENGTH DRESS. U WOULD WANT THEM TO NOTICE UR FULL FIGURE AND NOT JUS UR FEET AT THE WEDDING. MOST MEN LOOK AT THE WOMANS FEET TO SEE IF SHE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE HERSELF APPEAR WITHOUT DOING SO. U FEEL ME. SO KEEP IT CUTE AND GO WIT THE HILLS. AND IF U DONT WANT TO STAY IN THE HILLS TAKE SOME NICE WHITE FLATS TO CHANGE IN SO UR FEET WONT HURT.

is it possible to wear the heels there, take the flats with you then change into the flats, if not i'd suggest wearing the flats, heels are never sensible beach wear.

Sandals, definitely.

to be honest, i really like both. i would probably have a hard time deiading as well. however, wearing flats kill my feet because they are horribly arched. i would go with the heels.

congratulations to the couple!
