i didnt mind the exams thermselves i got through all mine without too much trouble, i just disagree with the principle of exams - theres very very few situations in life where your in a situation that you cant get help from someone else or look up something your only 90% sure on before answering.

yes i agree you need to demonstrate youve got a good understanding in a certain subject but i feel there has to be a better way then just answering set questions in an exam environment

I get a sort of exam fever. I would be all jumpy and messed up before and I could hardly read the paper or write because my eyes would be streaming with tears and my nose would run like I had a hose in there.

I only ever enjoyed chemistry exams as I was really good at that.

Do you know?....I loved every minute of an exam too. I use to gear myself up for it. It made me feel very important because someone was going to test me and I was going to test myself and find out how good I was.
I usually got good marks too...But unlike today when parents will say "well done" My parents would just give a contented smile.
They would boast to all their friends but say nothing to me because they had not expected any less.
School days were my best time in life.

Except English exams (I'm a native Japanese), I have to say "no."
Especially I did hate math exams and had very hard time understanding math. And it took me a lot of time to study for math exams.
On the contrary, it took me only for a short time to study for English exams. I love English.

I loved exams at school because I have the kind of brain and personality that finds it easy to recall facts accurately and functions best under perceived pressure.

My stomache would be in knotts and I would get insomnia around exam time. I was sick before every one I took. And I have 9 GCSE's, a Btec and a degree. That's a lot of bathroom time.

I do like exams but they do sometimes make me nervous incase I fail. Life would have been easy if there was no exams.

Not really - too stressful to prepare for. I do really like it if I have an easy exam that goes really well though - the relief afterwards is great!!!

Gosh no. I used to get myself into a right tizz about them. The only thing that came close in the "tizz" rating chart was when the school dentist bus, aptly named "The Agony Waggon", came to school !

I didnt.
I didnt like the idea of assessing a student's knowledge and intelligence on the paper, in a matter of few hours like that. Sometimes they just get lucky or unlucky. Exams make us study only to pass them and not study to gain knowledge. Its just my view.
cheers!
