I know the gevernment accounts an official recollection of the events that happened on that day. However, it seems more and more I see "9/11 Conspiracy" or "America as Fascists" as popular internet search topics. No one can come to a concensus of what really happened that day. What's the real scoop? Are we being terrorized by our own government, or are these well-backed stories of deception a complete hoax?
Whatever happened that day was truly tragic, and my heart gos out to anyone who lost loved ones in the world trade center. Just put emotion aside for a second, though, and think to yourself "Are we really fighting the right enemy?" Infact, I think we can all answer that one right.

I mean, I don't even believe the story myself, no matter how much evidence gets laid out on the table.. But the truth when you stop to think about it... Why, when the government knew the planes were hijacked, didn't they try to intercept them before they hit the buildings?
And we hold ourselves in such high regard to the rest of the world. Why? Are we not the same as those over in England? Over in China? Over in IRAQ??
So if everyone knows we are fighting a war for the wrong reasons, what are the real reasons for it? Oil? Money being the root of this mess? It would make sense. And how convienient that such an occurance happens that allows our president to promote propaganda that suits his needs by using our (extremely) STRONG ties to patriotism against us. We are not fighting an enemy! We're only making ourselves look like terrorists to the rest of the world! And if it keeps happening, we'll eventually mess with the wrong people...
I fear for this counties self-destruction.

More I fear for anyone that tells me it's not possible that such an event could take place. It's been proven throughout history that government, religeous venues, and law enforcement can all be corrupted. I would not hesitate to argue with ANYONE that everything that the American government does is good and just. These kinds of people have really patriotic routes, and are the kind that would sacrifice themselves in combat for the sake of some corporate billionair's agenda.
WE TRAIN AND DIE AND GET NOTHING, while these people sit on their asses and make hundreds of millions off of the spoils and productions and construction deals that ae created through these fights.
Anyone that posted something without first investigating for themselves is a fool. To sit there and give me the couter-arguement without even knowing the oppositions information should know it's only a moron that buys into a biased opinion, such as American patriotism.

Truth is that you're lame and stupid. No one can come to a consensus? Everyone has, it was a bunch of P/O Muslims. No we're obviously not fighting the right enemy as EVERYONE knows Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. What else is there to know? Stop watching those conspiracy videos as they are made by people even stupider than yourself.

the truth?
a group of people felt there was no other solution but to ram 2 planes into the twin towers killing thousands. i don't know of any conspiracy, but i don't reckon anyone could have predicted this would happen.
whether we are fighting the right enemy? Well it seems the Govt has made many mistakes regarding the consequences of 9/11. Retaliation would be right if it was to find the people responsible, but the whole Iraq war is an excuse. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and the U.S. should focus their energy in finding the people responsible - not go to a totally unrelated country.
I think the beauty of democracy is that you can fight your own govt and tell them where they are wrong. The ugly thing about politics is that they don't listen to the people once they've been voted in! Especially if the only reason they were voted in was because they "cheated" in Florida ;)
As always with any situation, if you point your finger at someone there will always be 3 fingers pointing back at yourself.

why are people saying we went into Iraq because of 9/11? we went into Afghanistan in 2001 because of 9/11. we went into Iraq in 2003 because we thought Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction.
Saddam was a secular leader and very brutal. Whenever religious extremist(along with anyone else he deemed a threat) started making too much noise he would go and wipe them out. This ironrule kept groups like al qaeda away. Now with Saddam gone and the US and the new Iraqi government in place we arent gonna go and wipe out an entire city of people(including innocent people) just because we expect a few terrorist there. Therefore religious extremist now see with Saddam gone this is a good time to take over the country.
In my opinion Saddam was a horrible person, but he kept Iraq "peaceful" to a certain degree.

Why can't you, like some others on here, come to the conclusion that everything is as it should be and, it's over. All you keep asking the same question and, get the same answers all the time.
We know what happen, it's not a government conspiracy, it was done by terrorists and yes, it can happen again.
Bush, the CIA, the FBI and Homeland security (wasn't in effect then) had nothing to do with it, it was terrorists, finis?

the American government organised the killing of its own people, this was the only way they could justify the war in Iraq, the American people were to preoccupied with grief and the need to have revenge, to see that the real threat is at the head of the usa and spitting in the faces of his own people
