I have always (since i first started getting my period), get my period every month at the same time, and no i'm not on birth control. For the past few months I've been gettng my period every 40 days...whatsup with that?

Being stressed about something (whether good or bad) or the amount of exercise done can cause periods to be delayed too for some women. Also, diet can have an effect. The only way to know for sure if it's one of these or a hormone imbalance is to have your doctor evaluate the situation further to see what they think is going on.

That is most likely normal, not everyones cycle actually goes for 28 days, sometimes you can have a period one month, then not have one for two and theres nothing wrong. That happened to me.
If you get really concerned about it then make sure you go speak to your doctor, he/she should be able to shed a little bit more light on it!

depends on your age.....if its exactly every 40 days and youre under 35, it could be your personal cycle just has a mind of its own, Id see your doctor just to be sure....If over 35, you could be going through whats known as PreMenopause, the bodies way of prepping for actual menopause.......
Being safe would be to ask your doctor....
