Need advice regarding My Parents?
I am 37 years old and have been living with my Mother and Father for a while now since my father lost his ability to walk in 2006.
I Have been taking care of my father and mother and have done all i can. up until recently because both of my parents have showed me no appreciation they call me names, put me down ,and so forth which has left me very depressed, and hurt .this is not the first time either.i feel its time to leave.
Any Advice will be appreciated.Thanks

Just get a place close by and check on them. You should be living your life now. Don't let life pass you by, you will regret it one day.

it feels awful not being appreciated by people u love. and they hack and hack into ur armor leaving u feeling hurt.
honey, no one will blame u if u speak to a old age home or some course of of helping center. check the place out!! make sure its according to ur standards and give that option for them.
then pack ur things and start living again. u might feel guilty or they might make u feel that way, continue to visit them and know sometimes an old dog just cant learn new tricks

You're a wonderful person, showing such love and care for your parent. I would ask, have you ever sat them down and discussed your pain with them? that may help them to understand just how you hurt inside. Sometimes, parents just are not able to express their true feeling of appreciation to their children.
