it really depends on the person...
actually all people are equal, some Asians / Africans/ Half-Asians / Half Africans excel more than those "pure bloods"..and vice versa.
if the person is somewhat lazy, stubborn or useless, people would surely look down on him/her, whatever race he/she belongs..
to prevent being discriminated, abused, or underestimated.. we, Asians, (or whatever race) must stand up tall and tell the world that they were wrong in what they think about us. =)

I have not found it a problem. I m half asian, my mum is english my dad filipino and I was born in australia. No one looks down at me!! Three reasons why.
1. I surround myself with loving people who dont give a damn about what you are..
2. If anyone tried I just look them square in the eye and say. I may not be better than you but Im every bit as good.
I may then ask if their mother would be ashamed of them right now as Im sure she taught you better manners than that.
3.I am immensely proud of my racial heritage and there is NOTHING anyone could say or do that would change that. I simply WONT ALLOW anyone or anything to make me feel down. Im 50 yrs old and proud.

I'm half asian. So you can answer your own question. Pick my answer as the best, and you'll no that the answer to your question is "no." But pick someone elses, and consider yourself looking down upon me.

yes.. just try chatting up in glasgow global and they discriminate asians... same goes in america... everyone likes the prospect that they're half asian (that is if they survive being bullied) but no one really likes to BE asian...
