Don't we have weapons of mass destruction? Didn't we drop the H-bomb on Japan? Or are we trying to keep that on the down low?

Actially the Russian Army was set to invade Japan at the time we dropped the A-Bomb (sorry wrong letter) which would have effectivly ended the war. But we have kept that little fact out of our history books. It's allways fun to be corrected by people who think they are smart because they use fancy words and can regurgitate stuff they were spoon fed in high school.

The question demonstrates the current breathtaking lack of fundamental knowledge and understanding of some people with regards to how civilized nations are sometimes required to deal with rogue nations in order to stop atrocious behavior. The only time in history that nuclear weapons were used was to end a war that was started by the nation that we had to use them against. To compare that action to that of Sadaam's use of chemical weapons against his own people is sheer stupidity. As a footnote, the hydrogen bomb has never been used.

Newsflash bud, when the atomic bomb was dropped on Japan it saved American lives and it used to be during war that we watched out for our own and forget the rest of them. America used to be a place where we loved our country, but that is another story. We had certain weapons as a deterrent. We never just gassed people for the hell of it or used biological weapons just for sport and the President of the United States never just woke up to say lets just nuke someone because I am bored. Oh yeah skippy, the H-Bomb is the hydrogen bomb which was never used in conflict. It was developed in the early 1950s after the Soviet Union developed their own atomic bomb-kinda a super bomb. You need to grasp history and quit listen to those lunny liberals. Put down the dope you dope.

america has attacked countries believed to have nuclear weapons in the mid east only because of the oil there now that the US army is in iraq bush hasn't found any weapons has resorted to the excuse of toppling a dictator that ironically america raised. im more than happy for iran to have nuclear weapons because they wont use it they are just as aware as the rest of the world of the repercussion for the use of such a weapon
america & britian im sure have made it clear that they would use nuclear weapons if need be. which in other words is when they attack another country far away from america
america will never be threatened as there is no value for the geography as there is for the geography in the middle east

There is no comparison. We dropped the atomic bomb in order to actually save lives. After that, we have not ever used WMDs. We are a responsible nation.

You know how it is: someone always has to have the biggest d!ck on the block.

By the way, it was an atomic bomb, not an H-Bomb. The H-bomb came about in the 1950's.

Especially since that didn't actually have any.

I don't know if is as much hypocrisy as it is arrogance. This was a unilateral decision without the approval of the UN or even NATO.

Yes. And I am not aware of any country-other then the US (and maybe Britain)-which used depleted uranium either.
