Anakin Skywalker? The chosen one or not?

Question

1) Yes: he kills Palapatine & sacrifices his own life for Luke & DOES destroy the Sith. Always 2 there are. Lol. Why else is he seen at the end with Obi Wan & Yoda. Then the younger version of Anakin really shows that the "Good" Anakin died as a young man.

2) Indirectly his son & daughter helped bring balance.

3) A "Not so common" theory is Anakin brought balance to the "force" by killing all but two Jedi & evening the numbers to 2 Jedi & Sith. However Yoda & Obi Wan were not killed for lack of trying. They had help. Yoda from thr Wookies & Obi Wan from Yoda & the Senator of Alderran.

Yes, he was, but remember: Prophecies are tricky, and that particular one was misread (as alluded to by Yoda in Revenge of the Sith), and no one knew exactly HOW he was supposed to have brought balance to the force; they just simply assumed it would be by destroying the sith, however, this wouldn't have actully brought balance, it would've made it one-sided (in favor of the Jedi). Pretty much, in order for the force to have been actually brought into balance, everyone had to either quit (call a truce of some sort) or die; and Anakin/ Vader did the most of any Jedi or Sith to bring this about when he killed all of the FUTURE jedi. More of a Star Trek person myself. But in relation to your question, i believe ever person in the movie was "chosen" for something. Anakin isn't the only person who contributes to the story/outcome. Every character does, even if it's only a little. So id have to say he's 'one' of the chosen 'many'.

he did bring balance to da universe as he was supposed to anyway.

he killd da jedi.. then evil was powerful... then he killd palpatine.. dooku was dead so da evil side was dwn...

he was da only evil guy left when he killd all da othrs( palpatie and othrs) so when he gav his lyf it all settld.

and evn only one jedi was left. wit both sides balanced
