What is the answer of this question?

Simplfy:
(6a^2) / (2a) (3b)

Should I :
1. (6a^2)/ (2a) first, then times the answer to (3b)
or
2. Multiply (2a) to (3b), then use (6a^2) to divide the answer?

Please give reasons!

6a² / 6ab = a² / ab = a / b
or
(6a) (a) / (6a) (b) = a / b
or
(6a) (a) / (6) (ab) = a² / ab = a / b

There is more than 1 method so long as basic rules of multiplying and dividing are observed.

6 a square/ 6 ab = 6a(a)/6a(b)= a/b
