Yes,when i was about 12,I was walking to the train station and turned around to look at something whilst walking and just turned back when bang straight into it,two black eyes and a broken nose and loosened front teeth.
Funny how you never forget these things,i can remember every little detail even though it was 30 odd years ago

When my son was 6 or 7 he was running along the path to school, as he ran he was looking at the houses across the street. A woman was in her window taking down her nets. Her dressing gown some-how got tangled up and she was left completely exposed. My son carried on running but still looking at the lady. He ran straight into a lamp post. BANG. Knocked himself out and spent 24hrs in hospital. The next time he was going to school the lady came out full of apologies and a huge basket of sweets for him.

Actually, whilst this may seem to be a somewhat frivolous question, there is more to it than one would think. For when you think about it, it simply isn't humanly possible to walk into a lamp post.
You can walk into a shop, or walk into a room, but you couldn't possibly walk into a lamp post as they don't have any doors in them, or any other form of entrance.
In addition to that, even if they did have a doorway, you'd have to be built like a stick insect to fit inside one wouldn't you?
So I guess that whilst you can collide with a lamp post whilst walking, you can't actually walk into one.
To pose another question though:
If you broke your nose by walking into a lamp post, would your doctor say that you were suffering from 'Post-Nasal-Depression!!!

Yep! Got off the bus after a school trip and was waving to everyone on the bus when I did it! Not only did I have a black eye but had the humiliation of it being witnessed by a bus full of my schoolmates - ouchh!

Althought I don't specifically remember a lampost, I'm sure I have. I've walked into walls, doors, signposts, pillars, people, furniture, dogs, trees and any other object that sticks out of the ground
