The best way to meet people interested in business opportunities is through networking. There are many organizations that you can join which will offer networking possibilities. BNI (www.bni.org) is a great national company where you meet weekly with other business people and where they help each other find what each company needs. You help them and they help you. It costs about $300 per year, and then whatever your weekly lunch costs.

If you don't want to spend that much money, look to your local Chamber of Commerce. I believe they usually meet once a month and help each other network. And, I would especially recommend SCORE (www.score.org). This is an association of retired executives who spend all their time volunteering to help new businesses get off the ground. They can do everything from offering business and marketing advice to introductions to potential investors. (And it's free.)

Hope this helps.

Social Networking. Join a leads group in your area where you can meet other professionals and share business tips. You can also join your local chamber of commerce and attend their events. If you are looking for an investor, check out VC firms.

Best of Luck
