Do you think that women have more empathy generally for other women, or do you feel that a male boss might be persuadec more easily to make things better.

Frankly, I'd prefer to be my own boss.

Male boss....their meetings aren't long winded and pointless, they don't go through as many mood swings and they tend to be more appreciative. Not to mention, I've found that women bosses are tougher on the women that work under them, whereas men bosses tend to treat those under them the same.

Sadly, women in authority positions are still finding their way...they still feel the need to prove themselves. As a result, my experience is that they are not as effective as leaders and managers. I have no interest in controlling a boss, male or female. They are their to teach and guide, and I find it easier to learn from men.

I think I prefer male bosses for the same reason I prefer a male doctor, I am just more at ease with males. ESPECIALLY if the female boss is prettier than me...lol
