The Angels are probably one of the worst best teams as far as coverage. I think part of it is the west coast bias, by the time the game is over, people in most of the country area already asleep. The Angels don't have flashy stars, but a lot of really good young talent. They don't hit too many home runs (although the big bats have come out lately...especially Garret Anderson starting to hit well.) But the Angels play small ball really well, and score runs. They are the most distracting team with their speed on bases. And they start September with the BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL.
And I still think a lot of people don't realize any of this.

What the heck are you guys talking about? The Angels know how to play baseball. They pressure the other team and move the base runners. They have OC, Vladdy, Figgy, and Kendry Morales all over .300, and the rest are in the HIGH .200s. Willits, Figgy, and Itzuris CAN steal bases. They are the fastest ones on the team. They have 2 players deserving for the gold glove, OC and Gary Matthews jr, and great starting pitching. Lackey, Weaver, Escobar, and Saunders have 48 wins combined. You people may think we don't have "big bats" but they really have 3. Vladdy, GA, and Gary. NEWS FLASH, the Angels are the best team in baseball. They play how baseball is supposed to be played.

Right. Their pitching sucks: Lackey, Escobar, Jered Weaver and Saunders don't constitute one of the best starting four in baseball; Speier, Shields and Rodriguez are the core of one of the best bullpens in baseball; Willetts, Figgins, Itzuris, Matthews don't bring some of the fastest baserunners. Your absolutely right, in the alternative universe where the Chicago Cubs win the pennant every year, the Angels are the worst team ever. But in the world the rest of us live in, the Angels have the second best record in baseball by 1/2 game.

your kidding! Our team isnt as filled with homerun hitters, but we know how to play! we pressure the defense and we play little ball. We score on adrenoline, and our ralley monkeys are gonna guild us to the world series!
