How to prepare sodium chloride???

By mixing hydrochloric acid with sodium hydroxide solution to get sodium chloride salt and water.

Add equal amounts of same concentration sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid.

React based on this equation:
NaOH + HCl --> NaCl + H2O

Heat the solution.

All the residue is sodium chloride

The hard way is to burn sodium metal in chlorine gas.

The easy way is to react sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid.

The first way, though, you get it pure. The second way it's in solution.
