I don't think it really matters if he's gay or not, rather what matters is if the criminal accusations are true.
If the guy is breaking the law he's not fit to be in his position.
Honestly, I would say just based on how he's handled the whole situation he isn't fit for his position, regardless of if he's innocent... which I highly doubt, based on the account given by the officer.

He is either gay or bisexual, but more than that- he is a compulsive. There are plenty of gay men who don't go cruising for sex in public places, and there are plenty of straight men who do equally deviant things. It isn't about him being gay as much as it is about his hypocritical, dishonest and perverted attitude.

if it walks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, or in this case, plays "footsie" with a police officer !!! well, let's just say, I believe the police officer ! It makes you wonder how many OTHERS are playing in the boys room ! (kinda' gives new meaning to the "good ol' boys club " !)

It shouldn't matter what sexual preference a politician likes, as long as they are doing the job we want them to be doing!!! I don't care if he wants to walk to work on his ears! Just as long as he does a good job.
