LONG ISLAND South Haven UFO CRASH?

Question

I recently learned that in the early 90's there was a ufo crash on Long Island, not too far from where I live. Is there any proof (hard evidence), or footage out there that anyone has found on this? I've seen most of the TEXT websites that offer no pictures or video. So please don't refer me to them.

The first two answers are definately plausable...anyone else?

on google earth it looks like "south haven county park"

there is an airport only a few blocks east of the park so it probably could possibly be a plane that was on fire and crashed, that was never reported on the news.
HEY, thats not an airport its a military air base.
it was probably a jet that cost around 8 million and failed when it blew up.
no wonder they silenced the whole thing. The military doesn't want to look incompetent on the local news handling that kind of technology and/or tax payer's money

it may even be possible that it could have been the reason people got "stranger radiation readings" when they where out there.

as far as the video tape goes, I never saw it. But if it was anonymously submitted, then It looses its evidence value.

My assumption of the whole thing....
no UFO. Its more than likely a botched military test flight, that people in the area decided to join the UFO bandwagon for excitement and attention

Im not talking about unidentified objects like kite or etc. Im reffering to UFO's from other planets of another galaxy/civilization that are capable of travelling here on earth using technology that is way more advance that we could imagine.

The bible didnt mention if there's life out there or none because the Bible is mostly about our relationship with each other and with our faith with God..So theres a gazillion possibility that theres life out there, hence the planets in the universe are more than the grains of sand here on earth.

Actually, I call them IFO's now. [alien space-craft] because they are now identified and some of them had crashed on earth and they had been here around 1940's since they were 1st spotted but government & military coverup is still present claiming UFOs as to be weather ballons or etc.

NOW THATS STUPID. do you think the government can just deny it easily and tell the public that nothing is up there? with millions of people that actually saw it, took pictures and etc?..

And yea, dont forget Feb 24,1942. Remember the 1942 los-angeles attack?.. military officials fired at UFO's, it was like a bunch of UFOs . The military claimed it to be UFO's at first. then the next day, it was published in the newspaper that it was a weather ballon.???.Over 1400 rounds of shell cant drop that weather ballon.FTW.. get outta here.:)

No. If a alien spacecraft had crashed it would have made the news. If our government, who cannot keep the quasi-sexual escapades of a former president performed in private in the most secure building on the planet secret, do you really think they could cover up a frigging UFO crash? In a populated area? And KEEP it secret? No way, dude. Benjamin Franklin once said "Three may keep a secret if Two of them are dead".
