Yes you should take prenatal vitamins. They won't necessarily help you get pregnant but they'll provide you with the important vitamins and minerals you'll need for a healthy pregnancy, like Iron and Folic Acid.

Read a book called Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It teaches you how to chart your cycle and pinpoint the days you should have sex to increase your chances of conceiving.

Good luck.

You need to take the vitamins yes to build up in your system but it won't help you necessarly get pregnant. If you have been trying for atleast a year (actively with charting and having sex on a regular basis) without luck then you are considered to have Fertility problems and there are many tests involved sometimes to find a cause and some people just simply have unexplanable fertility problems. If you and your husband have both had all of the tests (which can be expensive and take months to complete) and still don't have any idea what is wrong then really all you can do is relax and make sex only about sex, take your vitamins and try different positions. If you haven't done the charting with BBT, mucus and cervical position checks, OPK's then i would suggest doing that.

Yes, you can start taking prenatal vitamins now to prepare your body. Relax and don't worry too much because stress won't help. I got pregnant 1st try with my daughter. I am finally 6 weeks pregnant after trying for three months and thought something was wrong with me. When I finally stopped worrying so much I got pregnant. Enjoy trying, don't make it a chore.

My husband and I waited for almost a year before i conceived. sometimes, it just really takes a while. Prenatal vitamins would not make you fertile but it is something doctors give so that your baby would develop well.

Doctors tell you it's normal for conception to take about a year. Just keep trying and trying and trying and trying.
