For the undergarment? If so, what do you call it?

Bonus questions:
1) Who wears 'em under everything....I mean, under t-shirts, everything...like I do?
2) Why do ladies wear 'em these days (besides "'Cuz they like them/ 'Cuz they want to")?

A 'tank top' for a guy is an outer garment, with a little more coverage and thick material, that you wear for sports, beach, etc...so that won't work.
A few people have said they don't like the term 'wifebeater', but didn't give an alterative.

Girls wearing wifebeaters with logos....don't you realize they are underwear? Are you gonna wear Underoos over your pants next? ha ha , just kidding.

"singlet" is a good one!
In India they call them "banain," and translate it into English as "vest"!

I just feel like wearing them all the time, because they are underwear...it's like if you weren't wearing boxers (or panties or bra) under your clothes......dirty! ha ha ha. I know I'm weird about it, but when I see guys that never wear them they just seem so "low class" or something :)

Wear them all the time, mang.
Under things, over things, by themselves.

"oh in my white tee, oh on south beach, oh in my wifebeat"

No, I call them wifebeaters...I'm not offended by the name of the shirt i know how they got their name...but i do not approve of actual wife beaters...but as for the clothes doesnt bother me...and i wear them for no other reason besides liking them, comfortable,& because i want to.

well I call them that when I am talking to other people about them but I don't like the term. My daughter wears them under her cloths because they are really long and stay tucked in for her all day. They helped keep her back and belly from showing.

not really offended but i dont understand the term at all.

i usually call them tank tops.

sounds like the majority of girls wear them because they make their boobs look good. i dont wear them, but my sister does, so ill ask her.

"singlet" wouldnt work just as much as "tank top" wouldnt because singlet's are the tight little outfits that wrestlers wear

i'm not offended. and i only wear them if i'm dressed up for some reason like i had to go to court or something otherwise it's too hot here. i think women like them coz they're comfortable but since i've never asked that's just a guess on my part.

I am not offended by the term and I wear them to lounge around the house in because they are comfy.

Not offended, but I call them undershirts.

I don't wear them or know anyone who does.

I guess ladies might wear them because they are cool (in the temperature sense) and comfortable.

Nope, I'm not. I love to wear them because they are comfortable and I find them sexy. They look good with a nice pair of jeans. I wore one today.
