By the way I am 82.You won't believe this but it is the truth-hand on the bible-I fear living much longer though in pretty fair health. Will give my reason when i select the best answer.

Gina B-then you would not like to be behind me-I am losing the use of my msucles due to childhood polio. It is called Post polio muscular atrophy -and I expct before too long I will not even be walking. Please be patient-we elderly did not bring it on ourselves and try to handle it best I can after being an extremely active person most of my life! You could use not only patience but compassion dear.

Not really anything. Alot of people will probably say death, but I do not fear that, for I know God has a place for me, and when hes ready for me...he is.
My Great - Grandmother (who was 89) passed away this past Saturday, and after listening to poems and such, I realized I'm not scared ... for I know God has a plan for me.
So, therefore, I am not scared about anything about growing up. :]

What i feat about getting old, is dieing, i can't stand the thought of us not being here on the planet anymore, yeah i know about the whole you come back as someone else and if we didn't die we would over poplulate the earth, but i just can't understand the whole idea of us being buried to rot in the ground, or being cremated. It scares me to death to know that i will be burned or buried,, i want my kids, kids, who have kids, to know me and to remember me and to know what i looked like. if god was almighty why did he put us on this earth to kill us... but i guess if we never die we never make history.. lol i hope this is a good answer.... sorry to make it so long.

I fear being ignored by people that are important to me. Reason: As a nurse I have seen it happen to some of my patients over and over.

mostly i fear outliving everyone i love. i don't want to die young, but at the same time, i don't want to go thru the heartache over & over of losing those i care about. it sounds a bit selfish, doesn't it? but deep down, it is my greatest fear, and my soul hurts just thinking about it.
