Suicidal thoughts are never normal. Depression is, but if you seriously consider taking your own life then you need to seek help. There is nothing wrong with that.

Dude just stop worrying so much...everyone is smart in there own way...so what if your not book smart you could be street smart...honestly im not the brightest person in the world either adn i dont try to be b/c it will never happen. Just focus on passing your classes and studying. Try to make some new friend's...get a girlfriend or boyfriend ( dont know your gender). I get pissed of sometimes to but not that extreme. Just calm down and try to enjoy college b/c you only live once. Life should'nt be serious all the time and if you cant get those feelings out of your head go get some help or talk to someone...they will help you clear your mind. Think postive : )

You seem very frustrated, but suicide comes from somewhere else - thats depression and hopelessness. My husband hates math too - he couldn't get his degree b/c the only classes he needed were math - he finished all the others. Finally he had to bite the bullet - he is also older so he forgot most everything - we got a tutor and now he has his degree. Try getting a humanities, liberal arts or communications degree - they have the least math - I think its like 2 classes.

Good luck and try not to be frustrated - it is all relative- in that 5 years you will look back and think it was not a big deal - trust me - learning all the versus of the bible is much more difficult. :)

No, you should not be contemplating suicide. That's not healthy. If getting help makes you angrier then talk to a friend. Get some motivation else ware.

If you want to be a priest then obviously you believe in God. Turn to HIM!!! You have to have faith and believe. If you need a little direction and prayer go talk to a priest at a local church and see if he can give you advice and pray for you.

I wouldnt' say it's normal, but in the first few weeks of university there is a rise in student suicides.

I wasn't aware that you had to take math in Theology studies. What are you studying now? Perhaps you could talk to a councilor....I wouldn't say they're professionals, lol, they're not that professional, but sometimes it'll help to just talk to someone. Perhaps look at the Theology Department in your school and see what you need to get a degree.

And what will you preach ?A drop out now,you shall remain a 'Dropped out' all your life.In the beginning everybody has adjustment problems, some don't show them and some like you Blow them out of proportion.Keep on it and take help from your Buddies and coeds but never ever think of dropping out. Some opportunities don't knock on your door second time. Look around and you shall find people worst than you and they are going to make it.So,why not you?

I would say it's not normal to seriously consider suicide. I'd say it's normal to face anxieties the beginning of the school year.

I think you're going through a lot of emotions and need someone to just listen to what you're going through.

there is not a normal time for a person to consider suicide at all

but since you are professional help with that will be needed i use to have thoughts like that all the time and i have somehow managed to overcome that. i also have a friend that is suicidal and she sees a therapist once a week and it has helped her a lot

i know you may not want professional help, but please for your life, speak to a therapist or someone that can help you

If you are contemplating suicide....get off the computer...get on the phone...call your someone you trust and unload your feelings to a real person!

Realize that there are people out there with dyscalculia..it is a learning disability that involves numbers.....there is help out there.

Hold on to your faith!...and do get some help.
Blessings

It's not normal for ANYONE to desire suicide. Maybe you are smart, and you just need a different way of learning...the same systems don't work or apply to everyone. Somebody's out there that's willing to help you and won't judge you. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all have things about ourselves we don't like, but don't let those things overshadow all the great things about you.
