yes I like the name elizabeth of course there are several nicknames that people can come up with for elizabeth so you got to be careful if you want the baby/person to be called elizabeth and not one of the many nicknames.

Elizabeth is a cool name, but if you don't like names to be shortened into nick-names be careful with this one as it can lead to Beth, Liz, Lizzy, or Liza (all of which I think are cool too).

I personally love that name - especially since it's mine and one of my twin's middle name.
I did have problems spelling it in first grade plus an older girl called me U-Liz-es (Ulysses) or Lizard even though I went by Elizabeth. And in second grade I couldn't fit my full name in all the boxes when we did testing (it came out Elizabet). So I shortened it to Beth. Never a problem since, I haven't known a lot of people with that name plus both are Biblical which makes me happy even today.
That is a stylish name with many possibilities and strong history behind it.
I say a definite yes!

Yes, absolutely! It is a timeless classic that will never go out of style! It's also my mother's name, so yes, I'm a tad biased. :)
My mom goes by the nickname Lisette, which is a little different from some of the more common nicknames like Liz or Beth or Betty.

I love the name Elizabeth. It's my daughters name, my middle name, my granddaughters middle name, and both of my grandmothers first names....so, Elizabeth is a beautiful name :)
