It is currently called "The Sunshine Club"...I am the one in charge of organizing this for the teachers & staff...but I am not fond of the name "The Sunshine Club"...This club will also honor other employees throughout the school district--ie: Secretaries Day, Custodial Appreciation Week, Paraeducator Appreciation Week, etc...Any suggestions? Thank you in advance...CAKES

How about "Cream of the Crop", or "The Best of the Best", or "To Be the Best". Another thing is to ask for their peers to nominate each other. They will tell you why they excell. Plan a big reception to announce and celebrate those that have gained respect from everyone they affect. My mom was a teacher and I remember her buying shoelaces for a little girl in one of her classes. You don't know how this affected that little girl's life and her self esteem. You are doing a wonderful thing by giving recognition to people who care. Bless you.
