Maybe because apple seeds contain cyanide..... But don't worry it is too small of a quantity to make any kind of effect.

I don't care for apple juice so I have never tried it. It sounds as if it has a bitter taste to it - apple seeds are bitter, is the juice? The apples used may not have been real sweet apples and that gives it the bitter taste or of course if they used the seeds it would taste that way too.
That is too bad that it tastes this way. I bet you won't get that kind again will you?

It's probably imported from China, where a lot of apple juice comes from, and they probably included the seeds when they pressed it. Maybe it has lead in it too, for all we know.

Actually you taste the tears of the Chinese sweatshop workers who squeezed each apple with their bare hands for a penny an hour. Or some sensational statement like that.
