My best friend was hit by a car on Rt. 59 in Illinois while he was walking across the street to get to work. He's the only person to have survived being hit by a car on that particular stretch of road. The car that hit him was going 45 mph.

Yes, but it wasn't moving very fast at all. I was running for a bus and had to cross eight lanes of traffic and was doing well when the guy came around the corner. Because of the bus, he had braked but still had enough momentum to knock me down. I was bruised and my hose were shredded. The men getting on the bus came running over to help me up and yell at the driver of the car. (It was Salt Lake City where they have attitudes about women being fragile, etc.) I had road rash and a headache but otherwise okay, except the bus left without us. I was late to work.

Yes. I have had better experience. Thankfully, the car was at a standstill when it began to turn and then hit me. It still felt like a ton of bricks. I CAN'T IMAGINE what's it's like to get get by a car going full speed!

Yes. In a parking lot at Walmart. I almost had to have surgery. Talked the doctor out of it and now I'm fine.

no but when i was about 5 i crashed into the side of a car with my bicycle because it pulled out of a drive way when i wasn't looking and the chick driving it got out and started yelling at me. my mother witnessed it and walked over and said 'he's just a little kid, ya old cow!' i thought it was hilarious.

My brother has, and might I say it is totally something he would do. He must have looked like a rag doll spinning end over end after he got hit. He is ok now. sort of.

no, but I've ran into a parked car on my bike, and my tire got stuck where the cars tire was.....it was so embarrassing, at the time, now it's funny to me, good thing i was by myself and nobody else saw.

I hit a kid on a bike one time. Totally his fault and he wasn't hurt because he had football pads on
